How to use the remote control

Remote control functions

  1. Standby ON/OFF
  2. Airflow control
  3. Oscillation ON/OFF
  4. Auto mode
  5. Sleep timer
  6. Night mode

Remote control placement

Attach the remote control to the top of the Dyson purifier with the buttons facing down.

Operation

To operate, point the remote control toward the front of the base.

High airflow

Select a high flow of air.

Low airflow

Select a low flow of air.

Auto mode

Auto mode adjusts the speed according to the air quality in the room.

Poor air quality

When Auto mode is enabled (indicated by an A symbol in the bottom left corner of the display), the on-board sensors will intelligently adjust the speed of the purifier according to the air quality. Increasing for poor air quality...

Air quality improving

...and reducing as the air quality improves.

Air quality target has been met

  1. If the air quality target is met, the A symbol will turn green and the numerical display will switch off.
  2. If the air quality worsens the A symbol will turn white and the purifier will automatically restart cleaning the room.

Sleep timer

  1. To set the sleep timer, select the desired time.
  2. When time reaches zero, the purifier will go into standby mode.
  3. To cancel, reduce the time until two dashes appear.

Night mode

The night mode will dim the display and run quietly, making it ideal for use while sleeping.

Night mode display

  1. When night mode is enabled (indicated by an illuminated half moon symbol in the top right corner of the display), the display will dim and after 5 seconds will fade to off. The half moon symbol remains illuminated.
  2. When in manual mode, the airflow will reduce to level 4. When night mode is activated, if airflow is already below level 4, it will remain the same. This can be manually changed if desired. The display will illuminate briefly, then fade as before.
  3. When in auto mode, airflow will be capped at level 4. The purifier will continue to monitor and react to the air quality in your room and the display will illuminate briefly, then fade as before.
