How to use the remote control
Remote overview
Standby ON/OFF.
Airflow control.
Auto purification mode.
Focused mode.
Sleep timer.
Cooling mode.
Thermostat control.
Oscillation ON/OFF.
Diffused mode.
Night mode.
Remote control placement
Attach the remote control to the top of the Dyson purifier with the buttons facing down.
Operation
To operate, point the remote control toward the front of the base.
High airflow
Select a high flow of air.
Adjusting the airflow speed manually as shown above will override auto purification mode.
Low airflow
Select a low flow of air.
Adjusting the airflow speed manually as shown above will override auto purification mode.
Cooling mode
Press the blue cooling mode button to enter cooling mode.
The power button light will change from red to blue to indicate that you have entered cooling mode.
To adjust the airflow speed use the airflow control button or use auto purification mode for automatic control.

Heating mode
Press the red thermostat control button up or down until the digital display shows the desired target room temperature.
The power button light will change from blue to red to indicate that you have entered heating mode.
To adjust the airflow speed use the airflow control button or use auto purification mode for automatic control.

Auto purification mode
Auto purification mode adjusts the airflow speed according to the air quality in the room.
For more information about auto purification mode please see 'Purifying and heating modes'.
Diffused mode
Press the wide angle button to change from a personal directed airflow to a whole room airflow.
This can be activated in heating and cooling modes.
Focused mode
Press the narrow angle button to change from a whole room airflow to a personal directed airflow.
This can be activated in heating and cooling modes.
Oscillation control
To start the purifier oscillating, press the oscillation control button.
To stop the purifier oscillating, press it again.
The purifier will not oscillate when the control buttons are pressed.
Sleep timer
The sleep timer will turn your purifier off once the time set has passed.
To set the sleep timer, press and hold until the desired time is displayed.
When time reaches zero, the purifier will go into standby mode.
To cancel, press and hold until two dashes appear on the display.
Night mode
When night mode is enabled the display will dim and after 5 seconds will fade to off.
If the purifier is in auto purification mode, the airflow is limited to level 4 for quiet operation.
