Replace filter indicator
- When your non-washable filter unit needs replacing the purifier will display the pattern shown.
- The Dyson Link app will also notify you when your non-washable filter needs to be replaced.
- Your Dyson purifier is programmed to remind you to replace the filter unit after 12 months based on 12 hours usage a day.
- Please note your indicator will activate sooner with more use. The indicator is only a guide and you may need to replace the filter unit more regularly.
Ensure unplugged
Ensure the purifier is unplugged.
Allow to cool
- This purifier is hot when in use and for a short period after use.
- If the purifier has been in use, leave for 1 to 2 hours in order to allow the purifier to cool down completely.
- Do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces.
- If children are present, consider positioning the purifier out of their reach.
Filter unit removal
Press both buttons and lift off the filter unit.
Separate the filter from the housing
- Place your thumbs in the internal recesses (below the arrows), push the filter down and away from the housing.
- Remove the filter from the housing.
Dispose of old filter
To dispose of your old filter unit place it in your household waste bin.
Replacement filter
Remove the replacement filter from its packaging.
Install new filter
- Lower the replacement filter into the filter housing.
- Ensure the filter clicks into the housing.
Refit the filter unit
- Lower the filter unit onto the main body.
- Ensure the filter unit clicks onto main body.
Sensor hatch
- Clean the hatch every time the filter is replaced.
- Open the small hatch on the side of the purifier.
- Use a cotton bud to clean inside and remove any debris.
- This maintains sensor accuracy and ensures the continuing high performance of the purifier.
Reset filter replacement notification
- When you have re-assembled your purifier, press and hold the ‘Standby ON/OFF’ button for 6 seconds on the remote control to reset the filter indicator.
- The filter indicator can also be reset from within the Dyson Link app. Select: Settings > Filter life > Reset.
Loading pattern
A clockwise-rotating loading pattern will be shown on the LED display.
Loading complete
Once the loading pattern is complete, the purifier will return to its normal use.
