Styling tips

Whether you're drying or styling, we recommend using your Dyson-engineered attachments to get the look you want.

The attachments can be used vertically or horizontally as shown below.

Smoothing nozzle

Dries and finishes at the same time.

Attach the nozzle vertically. This will move your hair gently from side to side, and can help lift it.

Rotate the nozzle to point airflow down your hair, using your fingers or brush to guide it. You may want to switch to a lower heat setting.

For precise styling.

Rotate your Styling concentrator to match the direction you’re styling in. Use a round brush to guide your hair and create your style.

Helps to define curls and reduce frizz, gently.

Cup your hair in the diffuser, starting at the tips. Very gently push upwards.

The trick is to move your natural curls as little as possible, so try not to touch or brush your hair, and stick to the lowest speed setting.
