Wash the filter - step by step guide
Turn power off and unplug the machine.
Step 1 - Removing the filter
- Press red button to release cyclone and bin from the machine. Lift catch and lift out the pre-filter.
Step 2 - Filter washing
- Run cold water through the open end of the filter for approximately 10 seconds (Please do not use detergent, do not wash in a dishwasher or washing machine).
- Turn the filter up side down and tap 10 times.
- Squeeze and twist the filter.
- Repeat until clean.
Step 3 - Filter drying
- Leave the filter to dry upside down or on its side in a warm place for 24 hours.
- Ensure filter is completely dry before refitting into machine.
Do not dry the filter in a tumble dryer, oven, microwave or near a naked flame.
Step 4 - Refitting the filter
- Push pre-filter into cyclone top.
- Close the handle down until it clicks into place.
Step 5 - Reassemble the machine
- Refit cyclone top and bin assembly to the machine.
